SUBTERRANEAN INVASION

301 Taylor Street

Designed to address the zebra mussel infestation occurring in the Great Lakes and surrounding freshwater bodies, Subterranean Invasion is an underground factory proposed at 301 Taylor Street, Chicago, Illinois.

This development houses scientists and fishermen who will extract the mussels, bring them to the site, and use the species as material for a composting aggregate, as proposed by Cornell Doctorate students in 1996.
