Principal and founder, Jordan Cleek, began her unorthodox career in design by obtaining her bachelors degree at Tennessee Technological University in Civil Engineering with a minor in Fine Arts. Upon graduating, she continued her studies at Cornell University where she acquired her Masters of Fine Arts in Historic Preservation Planning. This combination of education allowed her to start her working days as an engineer in training and later as a historic preservation planner for the Town of Telluride.
Jordan was able to pivot her experience in local government and engineering to do something she always intended to do, work in the more literal sense of the world of design and began working as a senior designer in one of Colorado’s premier interior design firms.
Today, she is the boots on the ground of Cleek and Company and obtaining yet another master’s degree. This time, she is attending the University of Tennessee at Knoxville finally and formally studying architecture.
